Meet Codi and Pat

... ok, let's be honest...

 

I'm Codi!  And I'm currently realizing just how awkward it is to write about myself.  Let's see...born and raised in Rhode Island, I have had dreams my whole life of moving down south.  Lately, I've been figuring out just how much I love New England, and besides the cost of land up here and the winters, I'm happy to never leave.  A true tomboy and homebody at heart, my favorite days are spent either in sweats or out at the barn with Elle getting dirty and completely tuckered out from the sun.  I'm new to DIY but like to think I have some really good taste.

This is Pat.  Pat doesn't need a "no really" picture because he really is that handsome, all the time.  He's a brat for it, and I am oh-so-lucky.  That's really the face I get to wake up to every morning.  He thinks I'm crazy for all of this stuff I want to DIM (that's do it myself) at the new house, but he doesn't complain when I spend more hours on Pinterest looking for inspiration than I do actually making anything.  He's just glad we have a basement at the new house that I can use for my "projects" instead of taking up the entire living room.
